Over the years, more and more celebrities have been getting in trouble for their drug use, and these are some of the most famous instances of celebrities having drug problems.

One of the biggest names in rock and roll history, Kurt Cobain was incredibly famous during the 1990’s. His rising stardom eventually led him to heavy heroin use, and the addiction only got worse as time went on. Due to excessive drug use and many personal issues, Cobain sadly committed suicide in his home.
Elvis Presley was undoubtedly one of the most famous celebrities of all time, and his death came as a shock to the entire world. The dangers of drug use
Drug use, both prescription and illicit, can be extremely dangerous, no matter how much you are taking. People can easily overdose on drugs they get from their doctor – all it takes is mixing up the dosage amounts or accidentally taking the wrong medication.
Illicit drugs are even easier to overdose on. As the addiction continues, tolerance rises, forcing addicts to use more to get the same effect as when they first started. Eventually they use too much and overdose, often resulting in tragic consequences.
